ToolWhat the calculator is for
Automation ROI calculator: how many hours you win back.
Before you automate, an honest estimate of what a workflow actually saves is worth it. The calculator takes a recurring process and shows how many hours per week, month and year the automation realistically wins back. So you see at a glance whether the first workflow is worth it and which process has the biggest lever. The calculator names no service prices, it works with your own numbers and returns a time saving, not a quote.

Automation ROI calculator
The calculator takes a recurring process and shows how many hours per week, month and year the automation wins back.
How often the task occurs per week.
How long one run takes by hand today.
How many people do this task.
Share of the task that can be automated.
Your average internal labor cost per hour, only to translate saved time into a monetary value. This is your own cost figure, not a price for a service.
Your result
- Hours saved per week
- 2.5 h
- Hours saved per month
- 10.8 h
- Hours saved per year
- 130.0 h
This one process gives your team back around 2.5 hours per week.
- When an automated process runs so well that others could need it, an AI MVP sits inside it. An automation can become a product of its own, and saved hours can become a new revenue channel.
This is an estimate. The exact basis is set in the strategy call, where we jointly confirm today's duration and frequency. The calculator names no prices, it works only with your own numbers.
The calculation runs only in your browser, nothing is transmitted or stored.
How the tool calculates
- Manual minutes per week = runs per week x minutes per run x people involved.
- Saved minutes per week = manual minutes per week x (automatable share / 100).
- Saved hours per week = saved minutes per week / 60.
- Saved hours per month = saved hours per week x 4.33.
- Saved hours per year = saved hours per week x 52.
- Optional monetary value per year = saved hours per year x internal hourly rate (only if a rate is given).
- Hours are rounded to one decimal, the monetary value to whole euros.
Assumptions
- 4.33 weeks per month.
- 52 weeks per year.
- Defaults in the fields (20 runs, 15 minutes, 1 person, 50 percent) are example values, not benchmarks.

Free text so you can compare several processes, like "Weekly reporting" or "Invoice processing".
-
Step 02
Runs per week
How often the task occurs per week (number, e.g. 20).
-
Step 03
Minutes per run
How long one run takes by hand today (number in minutes, e.g. 15).
-
Step 04
People involved
How many people do this task (number).
-
Step 05
Automatable share
Share of the task that can be automated (percent slider).
-
Step 06
Internal hourly rate (optional)
The average internal labor cost per hour, only to translate saved time into a monetary value (number in euro, optional). This is your own cost figure, not a price for our service.
Section 02
Calculation logic
- manual minutes per week = runs per week x minutes per run x people involved
- saved minutes per week = manual minutes per week x (automatable share / 100)
- saved hours per week = saved minutes per week / 60
- saved hours per month = saved hours per week x 4.33
- saved hours per year = saved hours per week x 52
- optional monetary value per year = saved hours per year x internal hourly rate (only if rate is given)
- round hours to one decimal, monetary value to whole euros.
Section 03
Output
The calculator shows three tiles, hours saved per week, per month and per year, plus the optional monetary value per year. Below stands a framing sentence like "This one process gives your team back around X hours per week." A note explains that this is an estimate and the exact basis is set in the strategy call, where we jointly confirm today's duration and frequency.
Section 04
From saved process to product
The calculator shows time, but the real jump comes after. When an automated process runs so well that others could need it, an AI MVP sits inside it. So at the end the calculator surfaces a note that an automation can become a product of its own, linking to From automated workflow to AI MVP in weeks. Saved hours become not just relief but potentially a new revenue channel.
Section 05
Privacy and how it works
The calculator runs purely client-side, no server and no storage of inputs, which keeps it privacy-friendly. All fields are number or text inputs, the automatable share is a slider from 0 to 100. The calculation updates the output live on every input. No service prices, no invented benchmarks, the calculator works only with the numbers the user enters.

FAQ
How accurate is the calculator?
It is as accurate as your inputs. The calculator takes your figures for frequency, duration and automatable share and computes the time saving. It is an estimate, not a guarantee. The solid basis is set in the strategy call, where we measure today's duration together.
Why do you not ask for a price?
Because the calculator shows time, not the cost of our service. The optional hourly rate is your own internal cost figure and only translates saved time into a monetary value. We name our prices transparently in the strategy call, tailored to the use case.
Are my inputs stored?
No. The calculator runs purely in the browser, your inputs do not leave your device and are not stored. That fits our approach of building automation GDPR-aware and self-hosted where possible. So you can safely run several processes through it.
What do I do with the result?
Use it to find the process with the biggest lever. Run several processes through it and start with the one that wins back the most hours. Bring the result into the strategy call, then we start right at your strongest case.
